My desire to help others discover their most authentic selves in their professional and personal lives is what led to my creating Vibrant Living & Leadership.  Throughout my experience in leadership training, student development, strategic planning, and retreat facilitation, I have seen time and again people transform as they engage in activities and interactions that help them make meaning, find their voice, discover connections, strengthen leadership, and deepen relationships.

I'm a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, with an advanced degree in College Student Personnel from Miami University.  I've worked at Ursuline College, Kenyon College, Notre Dame College, Miami University, and have consulted with dozens of higher-education, non-profit, and community organizations, including:  colleges and universities, churches, student groups, Greek organizations, Girl Scouts, and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.

I find pleasure in writing - especially poetry - and in creating art in many forms.  I believe everyone has a story, and we find power and courage when we tell ours.  My nature is to honor each person where they are and nudge them to explore their own story.

I'm passionate about hiking and it's a rare day that I don't get out into nature.  As a rite of passage at 45, I hiked all of the trails in Cuyahoga Valley National Park - more than 280 miles - journaling and sharing my experience along the way.

Amazing women are in my circle and together we have founded gladsome, a women's retreat that nurtures the creative spirit.  I also partner with the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park to create and present Women in the Wild, a series of retreats to connect to self and nature.

I live with my family at the edge of woods near Cleveland, Ohio, where we've planted our lives and a Peace Pole.
